Stuart Weibel is the director of the Dublin Core Metadata Initiative. In his 15 years in the OCLC Office of Research he has directed research in electronic publishing and has been active in Internet Engineering Task Force working groups on HTML and URIs. Dr. Weibel is also a founding member of the World Wide Web Conference Coordinating Committee.
