PLA (Public Library Association) durer i vei med sin offisielle PLA blogg. Og jeg likte godt Mindy Kittays refleksjoner om sitt eget bibliotek. Jeg tror Kittay har rett: forandring krever forandring.

If I should characterize US culture with one word, it would be the word pragmatic. Direct, action oriented, can do: - The difficult we do at once; the impossible takes a little longer. All of a sudden public librarians blog their hearts out, in a blaze of publicity.
The PLA (Public Library Association) surges ahead with its official PLA blog. And I liked Mindy Kittay’s reflections about her own library. I believe Kittay is right: change requires change.
